HYDERABAD: CleanMax Solar is agreed to install an 842 kW rooftop solar power unit at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat in the future Greenfield capital city of Amaravati.
The project is a joint venture with the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA). The solar project is the first Power Purchase Agreement engaged as a part of the tender awarded by New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. (NREDCAP) to CleanMax Solar. The plant drives to be extended across seven buildings, including the Chief Minister’s Office Building and AP Assembly.
The project is created on the Resco (renewable service company) and Opex (Operational expense) model.
The unit is probably to generate 12.4 lakh units per year, with predictable saving on electricity bills to be Rs 42 lakh per year for the coming 25 years. The plant will fall 1026 tonnes of CO2 emission annually, same to planting 24,360 trees.
The freshly installed 2MWp solar energy power plant for Hindustan Shipyard Ltd in Andhra Pradesh. When the Secretariat project is active, the company schemes will be failing 6168 tonnes of CO2 annually, via 4.3 MW of rooftop solar plans across 5 sites in Andhra Pradesh.
