Dalmia Cement Company Starting Solar Energy Initiative in Jharkhand


ADITYAPUR: Dalmia Cement Company is keen to produce electrical energy from Solar Panel in Chaibasa and Chandil of Kolhan. For this, the company needs two thousand acres of land. In this regard, the company officials met the state’s industrial secretary Kamaraj Ravi Kumar and deputy regional director of Industrial Area Development Authority (Jyada) Ranjana Mishra. The officials gave information about their project.

Officials of the JHARKHAND INDUSTRIAL AREA DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (JIADA) showed the officials of Dalmia cement in Tibeto Poshi and Khuntapani area of ​​Chaibasa. Officials of the JIADA believe that they like 80 acres of land. Ranjana Mishra said that since solar panels can also take place over the water, so the officials of Dalmiya Cement were given information about Chandil Dam. Through the power grid produced from the solar panel, it will be used for use in the Dalmia Cement Factory located in Bokaro.

He told that Dalmiya is the first company that has given the proposal to the state’s industry department and JIADA to produce power from Solar Panel in Kolhan.

On the other hand, the review meeting of the Jharkhand Industrial Area Development Authority (JIADA) was held in the capital Ranchi on Wednesday. Officers of all the industrial regional offices were present in the meeting. Meanwhile, proposals of investment for the Electronic Manufacturing Factor (EMC) under Momentum Jharkhand were reviewed under the single window. A total of 186 investment proposals had come under the single window.

Most of which is connected to Adityapur industrial area and crusher. JIADA Deputy Regional Director Ranjana Mishra said that among them eight companies interested in investing in EMC have not been able to get the position of land allocated till now. Industry Secretary instructed the officials of JIADA to immediately get the position of land for those investors. Ranjana Mishra said that they will be given a position of land within a week.
