India- The 4th Biggest Wind Energy Generation Country

In 2018, India becomes the 4th biggest wind power generation country and Germany is at 1st position. Total energy generated all over the world by wind energy source is 486,790 MW. The Government of India plans to increase the wind energy generation to 45000 MW.

Wind turbine generation plant is situated in India at Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, West Bengal, and Jammu & Kashmir.

In India rural area, Farmers are using less than 15 kW power load. Small wind energy is enough to generate their consumption demand. It is good for India rural area to rely on power generation Government said they surely starting the project for wind power generation in the coming future through wind energy.
